Narrative Overview

Yuu Kamishiro is a severe social outcast pushed to the brink of despair by relentless harassment at school. Desperate to find a reason to keep living, he spends months shut inside his bedroom practicing the basic jab-cross combination from a boxing instruction book. When night falls over the bustling streets of Shimokitazawa, Yuu steps out into the darkness, searching for a place where he can simply exist without fear. Instead of peace, he finds a brutal urban battleground where survival depends on raw instinct and cold execution.

As Yuu uses his newfound technique to defend himself against random street thugs, rumors spread across the city about a terrifying figure known as the Thug Hunter. This reputation turns him into a target for local gang members, seasoned martial artists, and delinquents eager to prove their strength. What began as a desperate search for a personal sanctuary transforms into an escalating cycle of violent encounters, forcing Yuu to face both lethal real-world opponents and the growing darkness within his own psychological trauma.
