Shinjuku’s underworld hides a dark, lawless society ruled by monstrous spirits known as ayashimon, where human crime syndicates pale in comparison to these supernatural overlords. Maruo, an eccentric young man obsessed with shonen manga fight scenes, possesses superhuman strength and dreams of living out the thrilling battles he reads on paper. When he crosses paths with Urara, the exiled daughter of a powerful yakuza boss whose empire was usurped, a dangerous alliance is born. Together, they plunge headfirst into a brutal turf war to reclaim what was lost, blending classic mobster tropes with chaotic supernatural martial arts.

The dynamic between the naive, battle-crazed Maruo and the calculating, street-smart Urara drives the relentless pacing of the series. Maruo approaches every terrifying yakuza spirit with the gleeful innocence of a manga protagonist, viewing life-or-death brawls as mere entertainment, while Urara uses his staggering combat abilities as the ultimate weapon to exact her revenge. As they carve a bloody path through Shinjuku, they attract an eccentric rogue's gallery of criminal spirits and underworld legends who test the limits of their explosive partnership.
